Remedies that are hurting you.

One of my biggest missions in life is to remove superstitions associated with Hinduism and astrology.

All that non-sense that has creeped into divine sciences and Sanatan Dharma over past 3000 years.

My agenda is to put LOGICAL back in ASTRO-LOGICAL.

Today I am going to address something that can be really dangerous for the native practising it in the name of remedy.

#1: FEEDING MILK TO SNAKES….PLEASE STOP FOR THE SNAKE OF GOD

Now this is the most institutionalised and deep rooted superstition and leads to maximum cruelty to a being with enormously strong psychic connection, the Snake.

Some idiot came up with this idea “snakes drink milk…because it is offered on a Shivling”. Well for starters, the milk is associated with the Moon, the Mother Divine, BholeNaath…the child like innocent form of, and most of all, Nandi the Bull.

BUT The SNAKE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT…!

Snake is a hardcore meat eating reptile not a vegetarian mammal, it survives on eggs, rats and other small creatures.

A SNAKE NEVER DRINKS MILK…!

But hey, we can’t feed eggs and rats to snakes in a temple, so let’s change thebloody menu. Never mind what the snake eats, he has no say in the matter.

The cruel snake charmers capture a snake, break his fangs, feed him nothing, not even water. for days at length. Then they display the helpless thirsty creature on days like Naag Panchami or MahaShivratri, usually in front of temples, where simpleton devotees try to feed milk to the snakes for earning good karma.

BIG MISTAKE…and BAD KARMA!

NEWS FLASH: SNAKES MIGHT DRINK MILK JUST TO QUENCH ITS THIRST..BUT WON’T BE ABLE TO DIGEST IT AND WOULD DIE AN AGONISING DEATH…!

What you have done, dear devotee, is incur the wrath of Rahu, Ketu and Shiva.

Get ready for a KaalSarpa to appear in the charts of your future generations. And in your next birth, Rahu and Ketu will have their revenge. If you do it often, you might end up becoming a snake being fed milk in your next incarnation (I believe this is going to happen to a lot of snake charmers). Trust me you don’t want that.

There are stories of snakes drinking milk in our ancient texts, even my personal holy book Sai Sat Charitra. However, I believe this to be more of a metaphorical tale than reality. May be the writers of holy books found it disgusting to feed non vegetarian to snakes and switched to milk. But whatever it is, it worked bad for thesnakes and the people feeding them.

Remember we have an ancient saying “Saanpkodoodhpilana” loosely translating to “bad things happen to those who feed milk to snakes.” It has more astrological and common sense truth than any story where snake drinks milk.

You want to please Rahu, Ketu and Shiva, report the snake charmer to the police. And ensure some animal saving organisation takes care of the captured snake.

For the SAKE of God, and for the SNAKE of God, please don’t feed them milk.

Bad Remedy #2: FOR DOG’S SAKE…STOP FEEDING HUMAN BISCUITS TO DOGS…

Okay, I have been guilty of this. I used to have a pack of biscuits in my car and would often feed it to dogs, before I realised what I was actually doing. I WASGIVING THE DOGS DISEASES…!

Any sweet food is BAD for the dogs. The poor street dogs must have suffered itching skin diseases, hair fall, allergies, and diabetes because of my well-intentioned but foolishly misplaced act.

If you want to feed dogs, you can feed them dog biscuits (preferably vegetarian version – I don’t want to feed one animal to another). Wheat Roti or bread is way better than human biscuits.

Soybean or dog biscuits are the best things to feed them.

Ask yourself a simple question, would you eat a dog biscuit?I hope not, then, please don’t feed the poor hungry being something that can kill him. This would earn you wrath of Ketu and Mars. Trust me you don’t want that.

For the sake of God and for the sake of Dog…please stop feeding them human biscuits….!

A bonus caution:

#3 FEEDING ONLY SUGAR TO ANTS….PLEASE STOP DOING IT

When I tell someone to feed ants, I always ensure that they should NOT feed ONLY sugar. Ants like other creatures need more than sugar to survive. It is always a good idea to mix flour with sugar before feeding them. A simple way to feed ants is to crush a sweet biscuit and throw the crumbs around the ant colony. They would get all the fats, carbs, and sugar required. Feeding ants wold be a good use for your Parle G that you should never feed to a dog.

God Bless,

G. Vijay Kumar
