SHADES OF KARKA

SHADES OF CANCER (KARKA): The Child, The Mother, The Boss, The Drunk

If someone asks me which is the most complicated sign of all, my answer has always been Cancer (Karka)

(I think I should call it KARKA going forward as Cancer is often identified with the disease. This sign has enough problems as itself, let’s call it Karka for all future purposes.)

So, while Scorpio gets most of the good or bad press, Karka remains somewhere hidden in the shadow of this fierce water sign which has been glamourized and demonized in equal parts.

Karka is not that spicy or intriguing but once you get to know them, you will find them to be most complicated so many layers of personalities that it becomes difficult to know who you are dealing with.

Remember that the ruler of Kraka is the only planet which has a new shape and face every day, small wonder that this sign follows the style of its ruler.

I can make around 27 face of the moon and sides of Karka. But for the sake of simplicity, I have tired to boil them down to four:

The Child,

The Mother,

The Boss,

The Drunk

I know this is difficult to understand.

How can one person be both, the child and the mother?

And how on earth a person can be a boss and a drunk?

But Karka natives are all these and a few other things in one person.

These guys can go from a laughing child joking around to a no-nonsense boss in a moment.

They might tear the goofing employee apart, and then take him for drinks and dinner and might even kiss him and say sorry after getting drunk. (I said they are complicated.)

Let’s analyze the first part of their several personalities: THE CHILD:

Remember they are children at heart, no matter what the age.

They were the guys who gave birth to the concept of the “Inner child”. Mostly they play cuddly kids or clowns around the people they like. That is the inner child who loves to laugh and make others laugh. Who loves to love and be loved (remember this and you can’t go wrong with them).

Like babies who smile at anyone and can make them smile, these people often have a laugh that is contagious and sense of humor that is unparallel. Watch them play with children, and that is when they are at the most ease.

They can have childish attitude, can cry a lot, can have mood swings and can be a real bratty baby when in the mood.

KARKA being the water sign of the moon, these people love all things that moon represents, right from children, to water, to food, to alcohol.

In the opening write up of this series I had said that these are the guys that keep most orphanages and bars going. I seriously mean it.

If the inner child is hurt, they can turn to things like food and alcohol for comfort, and they consume everything in a large quantity. We will discuss the drunk when we get to it.

Just remember their inner child is highly sensitive and needs a lot of care and soothing.

However, they also make fantastic care givers and often have a “Mother to the world complex”.

Taking care brings us to the second Alter – Ego.

“THE MOTHER”

Which we will discuss in the next post.
