Today, my heart felt an inspiration to talk about MY Ketu Mahadasha. Usually, I don’t do this; I don’t want to share my personal life. But yes, there are things I learned and that can benefit you. That is why I wanted to speak about it.
There are endless remedies out there. Some are good, some are funny, and nowadays, it has gone unhinged. People on podcasts are saying whatever comes to their minds. Lemons, cloves, and alum (fitkari) are old news now. Now they’ve moved on to alcohol, applying curd to your private parts, making holes in your underwear, and all kinds of rubbish. These would do more harm than good.
When I started my research, I was personally suffering from the effects of Ketu. At that time, there weren't many decent articles or videos on Ketu. I couldn't find a deep, in-depth analysis anywhere. I was searching for what to do. It is perhaps by God's grace that I was destined to find the cure and share it with people at large this Ketu Mahadasha article I wrote went viral back then.
But there is a turning point that I have never shared with people until today.
When my Ketu-Rahu period arrived, I was at my lowest. I left my job and fell ill—the usual stuff. I moved back to Jaipur from Noida. I only found suffering. I was struggling with personal problems, a bit of depression, and health issues. I didn't know what to do.
In those times, a few people stood by me. One of them was my dear friend, Pankaj Jain. Among my friends, he is the highest soul—a man whose feet I could touch. He helped me in every possible way, and I can never forget his kindness.
I was researching Ketu Mahadasha and I told Pankaj, "According to my research, Ketu resonates most with Jainism." This is because Ketu is a symbol of sacrifice and Moksha (liberation). In Jainism, especially the Digambar Jain Monks, they sacrifice everything. They even give up their clothes just to attain Moksha.
I have immense respect for Jain monks. They have no ashrams, no cars, no bungalows. They keep wandering. They don't even have clothes. They are the living embodiment of Ketu.
I said it was my research that if someone undergoing their Ketu Mahadasha receives the blessings of a Jain monk—especially a Digambar Jain monk—they can find great relief.
Pankaj said, "If that’s the case, brother, you’ve hit the lottery today. A great saint has arrived in Jaipur. I’ll take you to meet him."
I was overwhelmed, "Awesome, let’s go." I thought if I got his blessing, things might change for me. I felt that something would finally happen for me.
We went to a very large Jain temple near Sanganer. Sudhasagar Ji Maharaj had arrived there. After his discourse, he was retiring for the day, and everyone was chanting "Namostu, Namostu."
Pankaj somehow managed to get me into—you can't even call it a room—a small roofless wooden cabin where he was sitting. About five or seven people went into his cabin to seek his blessings. I was one of those fortunate souls.
To describe him: if you mix a great scholar’s mind with an innocent child’s soul, you get Sudhasagar Ji Maharaj.
I have seen his "fierce" videos too. Where he scolded politicians and tore apart rich powerful people.
But when he is not angry, he is like an innocent child playing with a pure heart. And his knowledge…I bow to him.
At that time, I didn't know much. I just saw a man for whom the entire city was crazy, sitting blissfully without clothes like a small child. He said something funny to make everyone laugh and then blessed everyone (including me) as they left.
Pankaj asked me, "Do you realize what just happened to you?" I said, "I feel a bit better, but I don't know much else."
"Just reaching him is a big deal. You came for the first time, you aren't even a Jain, yet you received Maharaj Ji's blessings. Don't worry now, things will definitely get better."
God knows, from that point on, my comeback started. Back then, I used to write on Quora. People started coming to me—through emails and my website. Slowly, I began to build my identity and my grip on the subject. Ketu Mahadasha being something I was personally experiencing and was lucky enough to understand a few things, and guide people accordingly.
Few weeks that, I met my spiritual guide, who told me to take up Astrology as a profession. And here we are, you dear reader are reading the article I wrote in that continued profession.
If anyone asks for the day my comeback began, it was probably that day when Sudhasagar Ji Maharaj gave his blessings to this wretched person.
During a Ketu period, when people are extremely troubled, all that can go wrong, often goes wrong.
I don’t give this remedy to everyone but only those who are suffering seriously. "If you can obtain the blessings of a Jain monk, especially a Digambar monk, it will bring you relief."
But remember one thing: don't do this just as a "remedy." Do it if you have faith in your heart, if you truly want it, and if you have the desire to use those blessings correctly.
My thought was: "No one knows about this side of Ketu. If someone had told me, I wouldn't have been in this mess today. "
It all started with the blessings of Sudhasagar Ji Maharaj. May God give him a long life. This earth needs saints like him. Since Vidyasagar Ji Maharaj is no longer with us, very few such holy souls remain to guide us.
If you get the blessing of a Jain monk or Acharya during Ketu Dasha, the "chaos" of Ketu begins to find a direction.
Ketu is the ultimate symbol of liberation. If any human being can come closest to the planet Ketu, it is a Digambar Jain monk. In a way, Ketu itself is blessing you in human form. There is no greater remedy for Ketu than this.
So, try, and go with true faith. These are the saints who want nothing. They have left everything behind—many left behind billions in the quest for Moksha and liberation.
After becoming saints, they wander from place to place. They walk on hot and cold roads barefoot. They eat only a handful of food once a day. Their Tapasya (austerity) is very difficult. But that is exactly what Ketu is—it goes to the extreme for the sake of liberation.
I bow to such saints. Namostu.
I wish for most of us to benefit from the knowledge, penance, and blessings of our Jain monks.
I have shared this from my heart today. This is not an "astrological" video; it is more about what worked for me.
May the grace of great Saints like Sudhasagar Ji Maharaj remain upon us all.
God Bless,
G. Vijay Kumar
