"I am very ambitious"? Usually it is the Rahu Mahadasha people who come to me with this dialogue, then they want me to quantify their success.
They typically compare themselves with someone in their circle or someone on their LinkedIn or someone within their range. They want to reach that level and then exceed that person. That is how Rahu operates.
I often get questions like, "How many cars do you think I would make?" "How many cars do you think I would have?" "Do you think I can buy X car or Y car?" "Will I reach a level where I want to reach?"
I often smiled compassionately at them. I was one of them once upon a time during my Shani period and to a certain extent during my Mercury period. Ketu reformed me and I realized what Rahu does and what ambition does. Ambition is one of the most Rahu things you can have in your life.
Ambitiousness is nothing but greed in a corporate suit. If you say I'm greedy that is considered bad but Rahu being Rahu puts up a beautiful mask and calls himself ambitious and then everybody's all praises with him. This is the fakery, this is the hypocrisy of society which is under strong Rahu influence.
I often tell my clients, "This is not you speaking, this is typical Rahu speaker." I hear this once a day usually and typically comes from young kids born after 1990. The 1980s crowd is reaching their Rahu maturity and they were a different breed. The 1990s onwards they had early access to the internet and a lot of useless motivation was funnelled into them by the matrix.
The typical Rahu battle cry is, "I want to do something big." Now it's okay if you come from a family that can afford your bigger ambitions. But when you are a middle-class person, you're screwed because you don't have the funds and the resources to do something big. But you don't want to do something small. After that I tell them in Hindi, "Bada kuch honera chota hum karege nahi…so net-net hum kuch nahi karege."
This is the main difference between Rahu and Shani. Shani does deliver things. He delivers slow, he delivers small in small quantities but finally Shani delivers. Rahu is all big but empty promises, no delivery. If you have heard the story of “Dhapor Shankh” one, which will keep promising bigger and bigger things without delivering anything, that is how Rahu operates.
Comparison is the favourite stronghold of Rahu Mahadasha and it will keep you comparing yourself with other people and instigating the feeling of not having. Then the pitch called ambition is unleashed on you and you go ahead and take some drastic action and then you suffer.
My clients undergoing Rahu Mahadasha, especially the youngsters, I always tell them, "Keep your feet on the ground, no need to fly so high." There are not many billionaires in the world possibly around 2,200-2,500. Probability is you will never be one of them and that's absolutely okay.
We don't need to be billionaires in order to live a good life. In fact most of the billionaires are under high pressure and they usually look miserable or intense. I wouldn't wish that life upon myself at least. I am happy with whatever God has given me. Contentment is the key during Rahu period.
I used to be like this a billionaire wannabe and that to a dollar billionaire. Today I'm very embarrassed to accept this but this is what it is. That was a part of the matrix that keeps you under control under the thumb of the powers that shouldn't be.
My humble advice guys, kill your ambition. It's a bitch that will drink your blood if you let it.
And the biggest problem is people refuse to see reality in Rahu. Rahu and Shukra are the planets of Maya and during Rahu-Maya Dasha you are in the grip of Maya. You want to go above and beyond everybody and achieve the impossible and reach to a point where nothing bothers you and you are the king of the world. But it doesn't work like that. Rahu has its own traps and one of the biggest traps is your ambition.
"Compare, quantify, and go for it" is the Rahu motto. My advice: do not go for it, do not compare, and do not try to quantify everything.
We are on this planet for a very short while. This is what most people forget. Once you realize that life is short, you start to live differently. It's not made up of accolades of money or money. It is made up of time. Remember to have a good time while you are here. You are not necessary to have a billion dollars in order to have a good time. In fact so much money can actually become an impediment to your enjoyment and existence of life because then you will have to deal with the evil elite all the time.
There is a reason that Lanka was made of gold while Ayodhya wasn't. The good guys are never greedy. While I would want good guys to have more power and more money, there is a certain contentment in them which does not allow them to go to extremes of anything, particularly power and money. But like Plato once said, "Those who do not desire power are the ones who are fit to rule."
During Rahu maha-dasha, there is a pattern. People typically compare themselves with somebody, then they try to hustle things out. Mujhe bhi waha pohchna hai, "Is their motto" and they go ahead and get into trouble. They could just look at somebody on LinkedIn from class 10 classmate will become a big shot, then they say, "Even I want to become a CEO." They might quit a steady job, start a random business, only to fail later.
A lady might see her cousin traveling Europe and might insist and put pressure on her husband. They take a vacation loan for 7 days. They travel Europe somehow and after that they are paying EMIs for the next 5 years and often suffering every day of that period.
Or as the national waste of money, the big fat Indian marriage may be AC marriage deserve karti ho types and you blow up 50 lakhs in one night only to pay EMIs for the rest of your life. That is what Rahu does.
Stop this nonsense.
I invariably tell my clients undergoing Rahu-Mahadasha to keep a gratitude list with them all the time and read it at least 20 times a day. That is the best remedy to calm down the ambitious negative influence of Rahu. Contentment is the key people. You need to be realistic and content. I am not telling you to sit at home do nothing but be reasonable about what you desire.
My advice to them often is:
Rahu does that - it pumps you to take some drastic action and then gleefully rather than when you fall and suffer.
You do very well to see the truth behind the so-called ambition. I used to be a very ambitious guy. I'm a double Capricorn with Sun in the first. I have worked my way into disease and big fat body. I wouldn't wish that upon anybody today. My biggest regret is that I lost my peace and my health chasing this ambition. My personal motto is "ambition is a bitch" - screw it.
Life is not made of money, it is made of time. I want to have a good time and live in peace while I can do it. And I want to die in peace. All this ambition, all this Rahu Matrix and the people behind it can go to hell. And I have declared a war on this matrix and I'll be talking about it on Honest Life Coach as well. On this website you will see my articles about that. Keep following it. It is the battle for the soul of humanity. We need to break the matrix and wake up and reclaim our place in the universe. Jai Maa!
