One Website You Should Not Visit During Your #RahuMahadasha

There is one website that I strongly advise against visiting during your Rahu Mahadasha or Rahu Antardasha periods. Personally, I do not like this website, at least not in its current form.

This website is particularly harmful during Rahu periods because Rahu is the planet of obsession, comparison, desire, and politics—and this website is choke-full of all four.

The Problem with This Website

  • It makes you anxious.
  • It makes you feel like you’re losing.
  • It makes you desperate.
  • It pushes you to take wrong steps, especially during Rahu Mahadasha.

The Website is… LinkedIn!

Yes, it’s not Facebook or Instagram—it’s LinkedIn.

I’m not a big fan of Facebook or Instagram, but LinkedIn takes the cake for being the most disturbing website in my view.

Why LinkedIn is So Dangerous?

  1. Fake People, Fake Titles
    • Every second person on LinkedIn is a CEO.
    • You’ll find people who sat in their father’s 3-person company calling themselves CEO.
    • Their reality is different, but their LinkedIn profile is all about fancy suits and laptops.
  1. Obsession with Status
    • If you have a CEO or CXO tag, you can write anything, and people will praise you.
    • People blindly defend those with big titles, even if their content is meaningless.
  1. Filled with Fakery & Show-Offs
    • People think they can write anything and get away with it.
    • It is the hub for so-called business connections and is widely used by multi-level marketing (MLM) recruiters.
    • MLM is often more about acquiring people than actually selling products.

Why is LinkedIn More Dangerous During Rahu Mahadasha?

During a Rahu period, you are:

  • Desperate to achieve something
  • Eager to gain success
  • Constantly comparing yourself with others

Most people going through Rahu Mahadasha want quantifiable results
“How much money will I make?”
“What kind of car will I buy?”
“Will I be worth X crores?”

That’s a Rahu mindset—and LinkedIn is the perfect trap for this.

The Rahu Trap of LinkedIn

  • You see someone you knew from college who is now a CEO.
  • You feel, “I deserve better! I want to be a CEO too!”
  • You resign from your stable job and start your own company—just to have “CEO” on your business card.
  • You soon realize reality is very different from perception.
  • You fall into corporate politics, MLM scams, and self-doubt.

The Fake LinkedIn Culture

  • Articles like “My dog died, and here are 9 lessons I learned about B2B marketing.”
  • Corporate Simping – People get fired and still write love letters to their ex-companies.
  • Status Bragging – You see someone’s glamorous life, only to find out they lost their job in 6 months.

The Life Coach Epidemic

  • On LinkedIn, any educated person who loses their job becomes a “Life Coach.”
  • Ironically, I am a life coach too—but at least I don’t sell fake wisdom on LinkedIn.

My Personal Experience

I visit LinkedIn once a year—just to reply to birthday wishes from my old corporate friends.
For 360 days a year, I completely avoid LinkedIn.

Final Advice

If you are going through Rahu Mahadasha, DO NOT COMPARE YOURSELF TO OTHERS.
And for the sake of your peace of mind, STAY AWAY from LinkedIn.

Instead: ✅ Count your blessings
Keep a gratitude list
Focus on your own path
Follow a clear to-do list and work on your goals

Do not chase the illusion (Maya) of LinkedIn.

What Do You Think?
